I&#039;ll see what I can do regarding address book pictures. I haven&#039;t seen any documentation for that part of the thunderbird api so will need to do some digging.

The reason I moved to the tab interface was because most people don&#039;t have sufficient screen space to display all the information thats available. I&#039;ve tried to make the front tab representative of the most important and recent information is available up front.   At this stage I probably won&#039;t provide an option for a tab free view for  the above reasons and it would also break the module pattern I&#039;ve setup for future additions

For me it would be nice if the adressbook images would be used or if I could attach pictures from my hd as my folks dont do social networks.

And I prefer the view without tabs as I now have to click to get to the information while before it was always available.
Maybe it could be an option?
