Hi Marie,

Yes i will be releasing new versions of socialmail. Development is a little slow at the moment as I'm in the middle of writting assignments (not sure how great an idea it was to start my masters now)

Work on socialmail should pick up in a month or two

Hi, It would be fantastic to have all my social media and email in one program and that's why I love Thunderbird, however when trying to load it says this isn't compatible with my version (I do the auto updates so I think I'm 3.1.1 now). Will you be making a version available soon - it sounds so good!

Thanks for the effort you put into creating such useful tools.

Hi,

Thanks for trying to give SocialMail a go. In order to install it into Thunderbird, you need to save the plugin to your computer, to do this right click on the download link, and select "Save link as".

Once you've saved it, go into Thunderbird and select "Add-ons" from the "Tools" menu. Click "Install..." in the window that appears and then point it at the plugin file that you saved in the first step.

Hope this helps,
-Daniel

Hi Evert,

I've considered this before, however, I haven't come up with a solution on what to do when there are multiple recipients. It doesn't seem right to just show the first recipient, and there's not the space to show multiple. Any suggestions?

Looking good! :-)

One suggestion: When I check out emails in the 'Sent' folder it always shows my (the sender) info. Shouldn't it be showing the information of the recipient instead when in this folder?

Hi Alejandro,

There is nowhere to put log in details for Facebook at this stage, I am using publicly available images only at this stage. Down the track I will be adding better Facebook functionality so image collection from there will improve.

I'm not sure what you mean by "tab option", are you refering to the Front Tab Options in the preferences window? If so please let me know exactly which options you are have problems with.

Regards,
Daniel
