Great job, Daniel! Works for me now, too (Ubuntu 9.10). The next days I will go through the features and write a review. There seems to be a social network issue atm. I do not see any, though I checked the “show SN”-box and provided a valid Rapleaf API key. Anyways, thank you for bringing a kind of social CRM to Thunderbird users!

I was able to get SocialMail installed on Ubuntu 9.10 without incident. Seems to work just as well as the Windows version.

Hi Dan. Great addon! I recently switched from outlook and am missing xobni the most.

I have the same problem as John with the missing subscriptions and images if you have a fix.

It would also be awesome to see the app show pulled info from stored addressbooks.

Hi John,

You haven’t done anything wrong. Can you check in the first tab of the options window that “Show Social Networks” checkbox is enabled.
If it is then I’ll need some more information to be able to assist you. I’ll contact you separately to get the information.

Hi. Just a quick question. I have installed this today and just received a key from rapleaf. I copied an pasted this into the box and have restarted thunderbird. It still doesn;t show any social networks for contacts or pictures. Have I done something wrong? I installed this on windows vista system. Many Thanks
