There's no OS specific code in there so I'll need to dig around to find the problem, I definitely don't want to ignore the linux user base. This is what I am looking for. Sadly, it just won't work (at least on my Ubuntu 9.10 machine). I tried with Tbird 3.0, 3.0.1, even 3.1 (where It won't install). In Tbird 3.0 installation finished without notable errors, but there is no Socialmail sidebar and the preferences dialogue won't open. May it be an Ubuntu-specific problem?
